For sure! But nothing tops the cutaway shot of a framed portrait of Elvis hanging on the wall over the framed portrait of the pope. One of the best sight gags in the movie.
I know! It doesn't seem possible that so much time has passed, especially since the movie hasn't dated itself in any way. They could re-release it now and it would still be better than most of the new films in theaters right now.
Parker did a very good Job , Casting was excellent, too. It creates unforgettable moods, not only with the songs but also the small scenes of every day life. Parker loved his characters and it showed. I remember a live concert with Andrew Strong and at least the sax player from the movie- it was fun but I had given a fortune to be at the concert Wilson Pickett missed 😊
‘’The Lord blows my horn.” —Jimmy the Lips Fagan
Hi Jeff,
One of the many great lines of dialogue in the film. Thanks for reading!
I bet U2 is pissin itself
U2 made some great music in the 90's, but to be honest, I stopped listening to them after that.
Jimmy’s dad is a great character

Another one that I missed and will now have to find to take a look! Thank you, Jim!
Yes! This is a film worth checking out, especially since it's St. Patrick's Day.
